2018 Senior Lariettes to be Honored
on Senior Night
At the November 10 football game for the Coppell Cowboys, Senior Night will be celebrated. Twenty Senior Lariettes are included in those honored at the last home football game of the season. The Lariettes were asked to share what they have enjoyed about their years as a part of the drill team. Here are their responses:
Audrey Samaras - I've really enjoyed forming relationships with current and former Lariettes. This team has brought many life long memories over the past 3 years, that I will remember forever. Friday Night Lights, dance parties, inside jokes, banquets, bus rides, and contest season are some of the fun things I will never forget. Above all of this, I'll always cherish the FRINGEships I have made as a Lariette.
Kristin Welke - Lariettes has been an incredible team to be part of throughout high school. I have made an unforgettable group of friends that I will forever be thankful for. The responsibilities and the lessons I have learned will help me succeed for the rest of my life, I could not ask for a better experience.
Rylee Dickerson - Throughout these past 3 years of being a Lariettes I have made so many unexpected friendships. I know that after high school I will always be able to look back at the dreadful morning practices, sweaty afternoons, and rainy band practices and know that it was all worth it because of how close I’ve become with this great group of girls.
Abby Hymer -
Eva Fox - I have learned over the years that being a Lariette takes a ton of dedication and takes the whole team's effort into making our team amazing. I have met some of my greatest friends through Lariettes and I will miss all of the football games, morning/afternoon practices, bus rides, banquets, trips, and contests that we experienced together. Thank you to everyone for making my time as a Lariette a memorable one!
Lauren MacDonald - I have made many lifelong friendships through this team that I am so grateful for. I have enjoyed dancing next to such great girls for the past 3 years. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to dance at my school. I have made so many memories through Lariettes that I will treasure forever.
Julianna Barraza - I have loved getting to know all of the girls over the past three years. This team is so so special and I am so proud to be a Lariette. From band practice in the rain to Friday Night Lights in the Fringe, I will always look back on these past few years as the best years of my life.
Rebecca Carroll - There's no feeling like performing on the field under the Friday Night Lights. My past three years as a Lariette have been the best dance experience I have ever had. I have had the chance to meet so many girls who share the same passion as I do and make memories I will never forget.
Sarah Wales - I am so thankful to have been able to be a part of such a connected team. I have made so many meaningful relationships that have been strengthened with every football game, Lariette contest, and travel trip. I have enjoyed growing as a dancer and performing under the Friday Night Lights.
Gaby Mungo - I am super thankful for Lariettes over the past three years as it has fostered many friendships all founded upon our passion for dance. Additionally, it has provided me a place to channel my school spirit and represent CHS whether wearing the fringe under the Friday Night Lights or dancing with a box at a competition. Lariettes has provided me with some of my favorite high school memories, and I wouldn't trade my three years on drill team for anything else.
Lauren Granado - As a Lariette, i’ve enjoyed serving as a role model in my community. Being apart of this team has taught me teamwork and communication. I love the close bond I’ve formed with this amazing team.
Kortnee Miller - Something I enjoy most about being a Lariette is the feeling I get while preforming. Lariettes has taught me teamwork and commitment and I love that I get to cherish every moment of it with my best friends.
Kristen Lason -Being a Lariette these past 3 years has been an amazing experience. I have made so many new friends that I hope I will stay friends with for years. I have been able to dance and be involved in my school, which in middle school was not possible. I am so glad that I have had this experience and will cherish it for years!
Anna Ballard - I have enjoyed being apart of Lariettes due to the friends and memories I have made. The bus rides to away games with the team are some of my favorite memories as well as the traditions we have at football games.
Caroline Ferree - I think one of the most amazing things about Lariettes is how 45 completely different girls can come together to make the best and biggest friend group.
Michelle Barker - Being a Coppell Lariette has given me a family in high school. I’ve met so many sweet girls who have grown to be my best friends. All Lariettes value unity and have each others back no matter what. I wouldn’t trade this experience for the world.
Stephanie Wendt - I love knowing that I will forever be part of a sisterhood and tradition in Coppell. Being a Lariette truly shaped my high school experience. Standing under those Friday Night Lights, in my fringe, along side my best friends will be my favorite memories from Coppell High School. I remember looking up to the Lariettes as a little girl and aspiring to be one someday, Reaching this goal has inspired to me to continue working towards my ambitions and hopefully encourage young girls who want to walk in our boots to someday do the same.
Sarah Wylie - Something that I have learned from being a Lariette is to always work hard at what you're doing. I have loved making new friends and getting to be a part of the football games.
Avery Davis - I have found my closest friends through being a Lariette. I don't know where I would be without them by my side. I'm going to miss them so much when we graduate but they have made me into a better person. I love you guys!
Destiny Foster - I have enjoyed being able to learn and grow with my best friends for the past 3 years. We can always have a great time inside and outside of Lariettes and I’m going to miss everyone when I graduate.
